We are a not so big and a not so little coffee roasting company, on the Island of Maui, Hawai‘i.

We have 25 years of experience sourcing coffees from Hawai‘i and around the world to create unique blends of small-batch roasted coffee.

Maui ‘Oma Coffee Roasting Co. was founded by David Gridley in 1993. In 2018, Grant and Maria took over the reins and continue to create small-batch roasted and award winning blends. Our coffee is loved by all, from the home coffee aficionado, to the chef looking for a unique blend to compliment their menu.

Grant is the co-owner of Maui ‘Oma and the sole owner of Kumu Farms. He has a passion for farming and has farmed lands on Molokai and Maui for 38 years. Grant's business background provides stability and direction to Maui ‘Oma.

Maria is the co-owner of Maui ‘Oma. She’s been in the Hawai‘i coffee industry since 1998. Wearing many hats over the years: tourism, retail, café and farm management, coffee processing, roasting and production. She brings our team together, and you can always find her at the Maui ‘Oma roastery doing what she loves.

Most importantly we have an amazing team, consisting of green bean buyers, roasting technicians, production fulfillment members, retail display specialists, delivery drivers and coffee equipment technicians. These are the men and women of Maui ‘Oma responsible for your morning coffee.
